We wanted to stop in Custer South Dakota to go see Mt Rushmore. When we landed we found out that you have to reserve a car 2 days ahead. We couldn't rent a car from anywhere! The guy at the airport said it was unusualy busy the last two years.
Sooo we decided to go on to Watertown South Dakota, spend the night and then go on to Minnesota.
We did fly by Mt Rushmore to take pictures. It was fun. We were suprised to see Mt. Rushmore was as small as it is. On the way to Mt. Rushmore we flew right over the Black Hills. Beautiful!
