Preparation for Oshkosh

Rob LOVES to go to the Oshkosh, WI! ( a huge flyin with thousands of people and TONS of airplanes) EAA AirVenture Oshkosh - The World's Greatest Aviation Celebration
It's like Mecca for anyone interested in flight! He's been before but not me! This is my chance to go and experience this phenomenon! Every time I think about it I get butterflies from the excitement. Two weeks with the most handsome man I know and love squeezed into our plane.
This should be interesting traveling in the RV7a. If you're not familiar, it's a tight squeeze. We have to pack as light as we can(well OK I have to pack light). I have been thinking about how to pack the least/most I can with the least/most amount of "stuff". As you can see I don't really have the concept down yet to REALLY pack light. I AM trying though....really.
We are at the airport tonight so Rob can get this tracking thing installed so you all can follow us (real time) and see where we are! Cool huh?? I'll post the information about the site (or whatever it's called) so if you’re interested you can be part of our travel experience!
We'll have the laptop with us so we will be adding pics and comments everyday (at least that's what we plan on doing).
Our stops:
Ellensburg, Washington - Hello Randy and Sandy!!
Fairfield, Montana
Ekalaka Montana
Minneapolis, Minnesota
Mecca- Oshkosh, Wisconsin
Nauvoo, Illinois
Texarcana, Arkansas
Lubbock, Texas- Hello grand baby and her mommy and daddy! Yippee!
and then Home sweet home.......................

We have everything on the home front taken care of. The pool will be getting lot's of use while we're gone! Enjoy!!

Well the journey is about to begin and here come the butterflies!
